It wasn't laziness. It was anxiety. (We know now.)
Awkward AF wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from that very specific moment where you look back at your younger self and think: I wasn't lazy. I wasn't difficult. I was just really, really struggling.
For years, anxiety made the world feel heavier than it looked. Social situations that seemed simple to everyone else felt like navigating a minefield in flip-flops. Motivation wasn't missing, it was buried under a mountain of "what if everything goes wrong." From the outside, it probably just looked like not trying very hard.
Turns out, that's a surprisingly relatable experience.

The bit where it started to make sense
After finally getting some help (the kind that actually made a difference), the clouds started shifting. Confidence crept in. Anxiety crept out. Mostly.
With a bit of distance from the chaos, we started to see what it actually was. Anxiety. Awkwardness. The overthinking. Once you can name it, you can own it. And once you own it, it loses its power.

Who this is for
This is for the overthinkers. The quietly anxious. The neurodivergent. The "I'm fine" crowd who are very much not always fine. The people who laugh at themselves because it's genuinely the best coping mechanism going.
If you have to ask what "it" is, you probably still get it.

Who's actually behind this
One person. No investors, no boardroom, no marketing team humble bragging on LinkedIn in the background. Just someone who's been in it, found their way through some of it, and decided the best way to talk about the rest of it was on a t-shirt.
Design, copy, replying to your DMs. All the same person. Probably slightly overwhelmed. Definitely wouldn't have it any other way.
Come be awkward with us
Awkward AF isn't just one story. It's everyone's. If you've got a moment that's a bit too relatable, we want to hear it eventually. No pressure though. Obviously.
For the weirdos. By a weirdo. With love.
